Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. – Hebrews 11:1-3
I have learned that God has moved many mountains in my life. He has moved many mountains that have resided in my heart for years. That I had been failing to thank Him for moving until recently. I find happiness in knowing that He is a gentle and loving Father, and that He moves problems in and out of our way on a frequent basis so that we are able to learn from them.
I find that I often have struggled to believe that my faith is enough for my heavenly Father. I had believed that going to church every week, being overly involved in church events and groups, and that praying harder, will find me a place in heaven that may be closer to God.
One important experience that I have learned as a parent, is that I have faith in my children. That nothing they do or could do would change the fact that I have unwavering faith in each of them. This has taught me that my Father also believes in me. My faith in Him, is enough for Him.
Praise God that nothing we could ever do would separate us from the love of our Father. God can and will still use you for great things. Yes, you!
